Jul 2010 at 20:04   Hi there, I'm trying to install 6.3.5 and i'm getting 'Error 48 - Could not copy file ' Altiverb IR' into @' before i starts to install. I've run the Interlok extensions installer with no problems. Have tried redownloading the installer to no avail. Help ! Nick.

Please make sure you are logged into OS X as a user with administrator privileges. Then let's try to solve this problem by first deleting the following: "/Library/Application Support/Audio Ease/Resources_Altiverb6" "/Applications/Audio Ease/Altiverb 6/Altiverb 6 documentation" "/Applications/Audio Ease/Altiverb 6/Altiverb 4+6 De-Installer.app" "/Applications/Audio Ease/Altiverb 6/Altiverb tm IR Pre Processor " Then please also delete any installed Altiverb plug-in from: Pro Tools: yourmaindrive/Library/Application Support/Digidesign/Plug-Ins/ AU: yourmaindrive/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components MAS: yourmaindrive/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/MAS VST: yourmaindrive/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST then repair disk permissions by: - Launching applications/utilities/disk utility - Then select your boot drive and hit repair disk permissions, some could be broken. after this re-install Altiverb 6.3.5. If the installer still gives an error or doesn't finish successfully then please open up the console ("/Applications/Utilities/Console.app") and copy paste the entire text from there into an e-mail to us (or post it here).
