Settings lost when moving from PT7 (PC) to PT8 Mac 25. Jun 2010 at 09:20   There seems to be a problem loading old PT sessions saved in version 7 on a PC in PT8 on a mac. Am I the only one experiencing this? It loads a completely wrong IR (philips hall mono mono 7.3 sec) Unfortunately I don´t have the pc anymore,so I can´t reload the session on an old system to figure out what the correct setting was. Thanks for any help.

Re: Settings lost when moving from PT7 (PC) to PT8 Mac Reply #2 - 25. Jun 2010 at 12:36   Altiverb loads the default (Philips Hall) IR when it can't find the IR the session was saved with. Please make sure you have installed the complete set or you use at least the same IR folder as you did on the PT7 PC. If your PC sessions are old, it could be the setting can't be transferred to the mac. This has been solved, but maybe your session was saved before we had this fix ready. If you still have access to the pc you can look up the used ir, or load the session and save it as an Altiverb preset, this should transfer properly to Altiverb 6 on the mac. Aram Audio Ease
