Request for Altiverb 7 (if not too late!)
24. Jun 2010 at 23:56

Hello everyone,
I've worked worked for a a few months with Altiverb 6 on my new 27" imac. If I would have only one request for Altiverb 7 it would have to do with increasing the font size of the software.

The fonts in Altiverb 6 are so small I have use the zoom from the accessibility menu in the mac preferences to prevent eyes strain.

I looked at the video preview of Altiverb 7 on youtube and it does not seems much bigger.

Any chance of having resizable windows or customizable font size?

I do know it is possible to select a slightly larger font in Altiverb 6, but when you do so you end up missing the important information on the text line. That is because the windows do not adjust themselves in relation to the font size.

Just my suggestion, keep up the good work!
All the best.

Hi,

Thanks for your input.

The text size is mostly important when browsing through IR's. You want to have an overview of all choices and detailed information. In text this is difficult to achieve and in Altiverb 6 the text is indeed small due to the limited space of the IR Browser. The way to browse for IR's in Altiverb 7 is totally different, much more picture oriented then text oriented. This should result in less reading and staring at text and more making choices by selecting pictures.

We will take your note into account.
