With a very large set it could take a few minutes, if it takes longer then 5 minutes something's wrong.
Could you send a screen shot of what the folder you added looks like (all folded down to the samples) ?
This might give me a hint/clue.
I do not have any experience with this particular set.
In general you can add wave files to the IR folder, rescan the IR folder and then these files should pop up as IR's in Altiverb. If you put lost of wave files in the folder, then first scan will take some more time, but eventually when all is scanned and added, it should start the way it did before you added the samples.
