Snapper combines sound file interpretation of BarbaBatch and QuickTime.
Files with samplerates between 1kHz and 384 kHz can be opened and played.
Audio of files containing video content is supported.
Interleaved multi-channel files (.l .R, L C S, 5.1 7.1 etc) are supported. Split stereo and multichannel files are supported.
Compressed formats (mp3, m4a, etc) are supported.
FLAC*, Ogg*, Wma** are supported when corresponding Quicktime Components are installed.
(Legacy) professional formats such as Sonic Solutions, Dyaxis, Paris and Dawn files are supported.
Redbook audio cd images are supported, with interpretation of ppq lists.
