Audio Ease reveals the first sounds from beyond

There's a first time for everything. An extensive set of 'next door' impulse responses has been released for Altiverb, the original convolution reverb from Audio Ease.

These acoustic samples will make your audio sound like it is played in the downstairs living room while you are listening to it from the garden, the hall or the upstairs bedroom. It'll sound through floors and walls with none, one or two doors opened to the living room.

The difference between all these sounds is shown in the accompanying movie accesible from the Audio Ease frontpage http://www.audioease.com.

In the demo video you will see a 3d diagram of the house. Music will start playing from the living room while you are standing right in front of it. Than you start retreating into the house, closing doors as you go. All this is seen in the diagram, and explained by a voice over.

After many studio's churches and concert halls, this release is one in a series intended for Audio Post Production. It was preceded by metallic resonances (tanks and pipes), a collection of car interiors, and over 50 bed rooms and living rooms. New samples are posted every three weeks.

Altiverb was the first real-time convolution reverb plug-in around. And has won many awards since.
Audio Ease are the Netherlands based makers of Altiverb, Barbabatch and several other award winning music software packages.
