BarbaBatch 2.5 Nominated for Macworld Eddy Award

Barbabatch 2.5 is a finalist in the Annual Macworld Editors' Choice Awards.
Designed by MacSourcery and AudioEase, BarbaBatch 2.5 (a batch audio processor) has been nominated in the "Best Audio Software" category in Macworld magazine's annual awards.

MacSourcery President John Pattenden says the nomination is recognition of Barbabatch's reputation as a proven industry leader.

"BarbaBatch 2.5 has set new standards in fast, high quality conversions of digital audio for use in Internet, multimedia and professional production applications," Mr Pattenden says.

"Barbabatch is well regarded by professionals who have come to value its speed, convenient features and reliability. BarbaBatch 2.5 produces  the highest fidelity conversions up to 10 times faster than other audio processing products."

The Eddy Awards, the Macintosh industry's highest distinction for breakthrough product development and technological innovation, are given to products in 26 categories, honouring the top software and hardware products for business, dynamic media, video, web, publishing, graphics and developer tools.

Macworld editors and the Macworld Lab team evaluate products for technological innovation, quality, performance, user friendliness, and value in order to arrive at the finalist list.

"We were particularly thorough in selecting this year's award categories," said Macworld editor-in-chief, Andrew Gore.

Described by Macworld Magazine as, 'the best conversion tool money can buy', BarbaBatch has been upgraded to enable users to convert segments of an audio file.
